• FLOW & YIN: This 75-minute class is a sweet blend of flow and yin. About half of class uses a breath-based vinyasa flow to build strength and flexibility, challenging your balance and concentration, and harnessing that energy to promote inner stillness and peace. The other half of class finds you down on the mat holding yin poses for longer periods of time, targeting the connective tissues of the body to help release deeply stored tension. Amy’s classes incorporate a creative flow threaded with breath, mudras, meditation, mantra and a passion for music. She is known for her clear, resonant voice and precise cuing.
• VINYASA FLOW: This 75-minute class synchronizes the movements of the breath with a dynamic sequence of connected yoga postures, which are joined together in a smooth, flowing way, almost like a dance. The breath is an important component of this class, and the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. Classes warm up with gentle movements, sun salutations, standing postures, balancing and a cool down before savasana. Amy’s classes incorporate a creative flow threaded with breath, mudras, meditation, mantra and a passion for music. She is known for her clear, resonant voice and precise cuing.
